Class Description
Classes are structured to facilitate caregiver/child interaction as well as group experiences. Children will be
supported in participating to whatever degree they are comfortable. Each
class features a children's song that will be experienced through singing,
playing instruments, and movement activities.
Classes are 45 minutes long and may include:
- A regular opening (or "hello") and
closing (or "goodbye") song
- A scarf dance, instrument jam &
"sit 'n sway"
- Interactive sing-a-longs
- Individual or shared instrument
playing
- Song creation
- Individual and group movement
activities
- Call and response rhythm plays
- Music games
